Okay, so as I mentioned in my rambling intro post, I am using this as a writing outlet. I found these random books with questions in them that I am going to use as a prompt and a starting point. I will try and do two questions a day, one from the about me category and one from the this or that book.
What is your idea of perfect happiness?
Ummm... I mean, start out with an easy one, jeez! This is such a big place to start. There are so many different ways to approach this or look at this. Perfect happiness. Feeling the sun on my skin, laying on the beach or by the pool, or even in the back yard, with music or a book, or even in silence. Holding my niece or nephew when they were babies, just feeling their tiny bodies against mine, the warmth flowing from them, into me, and back, and that feeling of safety and love. Listening to the waves crash against the bluff at Lake Michigan and knowing that the water is so close and that it provides this sense of calm and grounding.
Dancing or Singing?
Can you have one without the other? My gut instinct is to go with singing. I will sing along with anything at almost any time, very off key of course. Music speaks volumes and has this was of reaching out through so many different obstacles. Any song out there has this amazing way to speak to you in the way that you need it to at that time. And it has a similar power to take you back to that feeling every time you hear it.
