One of my favorite things from the Arbonne Healthy Living program is that you eat such amazing food! When you join in the group that is created on Facebook for your monthly challenge, you are given all of the help you could possibly need! Like I said, the food is almost always my favorite part!
You are given these amazing weekly meal plans that provide you with everything you need! During the first two rounds of 30 Days to Healthy Living, I followed these very closely. I went through the meal plans and stuck to them as closely as I could, working around food preferences as best I could. For this third round that started yesterday, I am trying to do things a little bit differently. I am still sticking with the structure of program, and will stay with the plan 100%, but I wanted to make this plan work for me.
So today, I made my own meal, not a recipe that was given to me, but something that 100% works for me and I planned on my own. My birthday was just a few weeks ago, and I was given the Magnolia Table cookbooks by Joanna Gaines by my brother and sister in law. I spent two nights looking over the recipes and trying to find the ones that stuck out above the rest. Out of all of the amazing recipes in that set of cookbooks, the one that stood out the most to me, and that was compliant, was this amazing Apple Cider Vinaigrette. It is simple, light, and full of flavor.
EVOO, apple cider vinegar, mustard seed, salt and pepper are all that go into this great dressing. There is so much flavor and it goes so nicely with just a simple bed of greens. I paired that with a great chicken sausage from Costco that is fully compliant with the 30 Day program!
I was so glad I was able to come up with something simple, easy, and tasty for my dinner tonight. Knowing that this is going to be a program and style of eating that I want to stick with long term, I am so happy that I am finding ways to make this work long term for me.
I would love to help someone else discover this amazing lifestyle and make steps in their life to get healthy!
